Although it was stressful getting to and from my destination today, the time spent there was completely worth it.

Even though the night was fleeting, it felt great to finally catch up with a few of the ones who make me laugh the hardest.

I thought things were going to finally get just that little bit quieter – but alas, no.

I was hoping to actually get out and see the world today, but instead I stay in front of my computer, putting out fires, not stopping until all my tasks were done, and colleagues and clients stopped chasing me.
